Easter

Easter was so fun and the weather was incredible (up to 85 degrees)!
We ask the Easter Bunny to come on Saturday so we can keep Easter Sunday special and reverent, so here are a few pictures of the weekend:

It's early and hard to open those eyes! :)
Looking for loot!

You have to shake them to make sure they aren't duds!

Linebacker in the making?

My sweet little Cameron is two months old today! After visiting the doctor for his well-check we are surviving the joys of post-shots.
Oh, you ask if he has grown? Let me share my heavyweight's stats:

Height: 24.5 inches
Weight: 14.3 lbs
Head:15.75 inches

...at two months. 95% percentile in height and weight.
I was going to take a picture with his cute outfit on while at the doctor, but of course he had a major blowout and now he is in his ugly one-piece -- the only thing that is clean! Love having a baby (especially a boy with a good aim)!
So sorry, no pic today.

Cameron's Blessing

We were thrilled to have so many join us this weekend for little Cameron's blessing by his Daddy. It was a perfect weekend and although we wish we could have spent a little more time with everyone, we are grateful for the time we had!
A few highlights:
*Kevin's parents were the first to arrive on Wed. evening with dinner in hand. They are always to thoughtful and generous! Unfortunately, they got here in time to see a sick Carson. He had a slight fever for a couple days, but luckily it didn't progress into anything else!
*My parents arrived after midnight Thursday night and my Dad was up and hard at work by 7am! He was amazing and not only installed light fixtures in each room, but spent two full days (the only two days he had here) in the cold attic drilling, wiring, rewiring and installing those fixtures. It is unbelievable what a difference it makes to have overhead lighting! Thanks again, Dad-- you are the best!
*Friday night Marc and Laura arrived from NY and stayed a while to visit before getting some rest at their hotel.
*Saturday Matt and Kasey came up and brought Wii Sports Resort which ended up creating a competition between all who happened to walk by. I am still the master sushi chopper though.
*Late that evening Heather and Jayson and the "cousins" came up and made Connor's year. He had been waiting for them to come for weeks! We had a nice visit with them before everyone bailed out to get some rest.
*Sunday morning we all met at the church and witnessed Kevin give a beautiful blessing. Thanks to all who participated!
*We all caravanned back to the house where we had a light brunch before everyone went their ways.
It was a perfect weekend and we are so grateful to have amazing families who came to support us! We love you all!

Don't be fooled; we really did have great entertainment!

Let's Play Music Blog

If you check out the Let's Play Music blog, there is a great giveaway going on. Go and check it out, but don't leave a comment because I really want to win! :)
I lost my metronome at church (one of the hazards of being organist) and I don't want to buy a new one. I want to win one! :)

Connor's new favorite hobby

I guess we have a future drummer on our hands. Kevin received "Band Hero" for the Wii from my parents and me for his birthday, and Connor has taken over. Poor Kevin hasn't even had a chance to jam out yet because Connor insists on being the drums any chance he gets to play. He is actually quite good (on the beginner setting)! For the three times he has been allowed to play, he only failed out once, but received "You Rock!" on all the rest. He is very proud.

While I love that he is super excited, I think he may be a little too excited. He came home from preschool yesterday and showed me his "picture" he drew while he was there (remember he is only 3 years old):

I guess I have some explaining to do to his teachers!

Happy Birthday Kevin!

Happy Birthday Kevin!
We knew he had clinic until late tonight so we celebrated early last night!
We had dinner together then opened his presents and had a chocolate cake made by the boys. We had fun, I hope he did too!

This was also Cameron's first church day and he looked so handsome in his church clothes!

Happy Birthday, we love you!

Snowed in!!

After a week of snow storms and more on the way, we are a little anxious for some sunshine! Grandma Ellsworth came for a visit in the middle of the storms and took some great pictures. Here are a few pictures of the snow on just the first day!

Here are some other cute pictures from Grandma:
