A Random Act...of Randomness

I have no idea what spawned this idea, but I walk in the bathroom one evening to find this:

Carson later said he had seen a baby on a movie get a bath in the sink and he wanted to try it too. No more Baby Neptune without supervision!

Valentines and Birthdays

Here are just a few cute pictures of our little valentines:

Poor Connor is still smiling even though he is too sore to eat his special breakfast!

Happy Birthday, Daddy! So who's birthday is it anyway? Carson was so excited to share Daddy's birthday that we woke up that morning, wrapped his own present, and then opened it! He also requested a Pablo cake for Daddy (of course).

No more Tonsil-Hockey!

If you have wondered why we have been out of touch during the last week, you can now be assured that we weren't on the beach somewhere, but in fact isolated in a hospital room. Our poor little Connor underwent surgery last week to remove his tonsils and adenoids (I still have no idea what those are). He did amazingly well, especially suffering 10 hours of fasting prior to the surgery. He didn't like the recovery process, however, and must have enjoyed his room in the hospital too much to want to eat or drink and go home. We stayed a little longer than hoped, but eventually the little guy devoured a bag of goldfish crackers and they let us go. He is still very sore and has a difficult time swallowing, but is recovering and starting to regain his spunky little personality.
Before the surgery- being goofy.

Distraction- Bubbles!

Post-surgery: In the cage. This was also the only 30 min that he ever stepped foot in that bed. He had Mama, willingly obliging, hold him every minute of the entire stay...
