Our first fall

It is officially fall when the boys can jump into a pile of leaves taller than they are! We are loving the beautiful sights that come with the cooler weather and although we are freezing at 70 degrees, it is a fun change!

Before the big jump- don't be fooled; the pile was really HUGE! It is just at a bad angle in this shot.

Carson's action shot:

It must be exhausting jumping in the leaves all day (way more tired than mommy, who raked all of the leaves each time)

Finally!

I know, I know. Keep the rants in the posts to a minimum. We have been a little busy out here and between unpacking, painting, wedding vacationing, bus stopping, teaching, mommying, internet/phone correcting (again, and again, and again...) we haven't had a spare minute to post. :0) But, I have managed a few quiet moments with an interruption-free internet connection, and so I am updating a BRIEF post so you can see what we have been up to. I preface by saying brief because it won't have many pictures of the house other than the first day we got here (it is still a work in progress). But take a look at the plethora of pictures below to see what you have missed in the past month (from Connor's tooth episode to Marc's wedding). Enjoy!
After the incident and pre-surgery:

We still went to Disneyland the day after Connor's surgery (he didn't mind, I assure you):

Dumbo was a "must ride"
Connor's favorite: Monsters Inc. We rode this at least 10 times.

Sully said "hi" just before the earthquake hit (it was awesome)!

Wall-E!

Just before we head out of AZ!

We're here!

We're Here!

Okay, so it has been a very busy couple of months so I have been a slacker when it comes to keeping up on the blog. We finally made it to Pittsburgh and absolutely love it here! It is beautiful and green and we can't get enough of the sights to see here.
Kevin started his schooling this week and comes home amazed at all that is happening at UPMC and the University.
Our home is perfect and as soon as we get a little more unpacked I'll post some pictures for everyone to see. We love it!
Thanks for being patient and keep checking back to see how we are doing!

Connor's Birthday!

It has been a couple of weeks now, but Connor had his 2nd birthday on May 22nd. He had a special day because Carson woke up early and helped Mamma decorate Connor's chair and the kitchen and then we played, went to lunch, had Cold Stone, a very special dinner (they wanted Taco Bell. Nice.), and then Uncle Marc and Aunt Laura came over for cake and presents. Connor was spoiled by them and they (meaning Laura) picked out some great toys that he loves! Thanks guys!
He also got a new bike and helmet so eventually he will be cruising right along with Carson. It was a fun day!

Catch Up!

We have been really busy this past week so we have a few posts all put together in one! First of all, last week we had a great time with Grandma Ellsworth and Grandad Great at the lake. The boys ran around, ate cherries and enjoyed the ride.
Then Carson had "water day" at Miss Christi's school and he had fun on the slip & slide with his friends.

Today was Carson's preschool graduation. Carson looked so handsome and grown-up! He was part of a cute little ceremony and it was fun to review all the fun times he has had the past two years. He loved Miss Christi and will really miss being a part of her classes! Congrats, my little graduate; you're moving on to bigger and better things- KINDERGARTEN!

Can you tell he is excited?

The partners in crime. I'm sure Miss Christi won't miss this combo!

Scentsy!

I had my first Scentsy party last night and it was so much fun! If you aren't familiar with the company, you need to call me because it is so great! With two asthmatic boys I was so excited to learn about a flameless candle that won't get smoke and soot in our lungs (and on our ceilings). I signed up to be a consultant a few weeks ago and have absolutely loved the product and hope to share the great idea with others. If you are interested in finding out more or smelling any of the 80 scents, call or email me or look at the website at: www.scentsy.com/ellsworth
It is great and so much fun!

New Pictures (finally)!

My friend Jeni, a fabulous photographer (whom I highly recommend-contact me for her info), took some great family pictures. Now we have one with our almost 2-year old Connor in it! It is really sad that we haven't done it sooner, but I think Jeni did a great job and we are so pleased to have finally completed it- even though Carson and Connor were little beasts during the process. Thanks for your patience, Jeni!
